My naturopath's recipe is drink organic apple juice from the health food store - 16 oz every 2 hours from 8am to 8pm - for three days.

The morning of the third day - 1/4 - cup of olive oil with more apple juice and then go to bed.

I asked about why no lemon and I can't remember exactly but she said something about its bitterness would not be good for the pancreas and that with all that apple juice I would have softened up the stones pretty good.

But my medial doctor says I should not fool around pancreatitis can be life-threatening. If I get another attack (from the cleanse?) it could lead to chronic pancreatitis and at worst death and I should just get it out.

I am still torn....
