I have to completely agree with you. The indications are, as you say what many pregnant women experience and can lead to preeclampsia, etc. Blood pressure increase is usually from my understanding when the kidney actual gets most damage. The protein is more an indication of the body coping with the pregnancy and preeclampsia conditions. It does not make sense that any of this would be related to earlier liver flushes.
