Thanks for the advice. My question is, if Metamucil etc is good, why do people quest for all these other products we read about on these, and other forums? I've had people who haven't read what I've read suggest Metamucil, but I've told them these OTC products weren't very good.

I'm so new at this, and have read so much, my head spins, sometimes, so I can't recall if I read NOT to take these OTC products, or not.
