I know your pain! When you can't get a breath, nothing else matters. I have asthma and enphysema. I couldn't walk 10 feet without sitting down to rest. Now I describe myself as a recoverng asthmatic. There are a number of parts to recovering.
I was having severe asthma attacks. The doctors taught me the
"proper" way to breath. Then someone told me about a process
called the Buteyko Method. I will shorten this story by saying
that I started breathing gently through my nose. 100% of the time
through my nose. Once I did that I have not had a single asthma
