I know that accupuncture takes time and I would need to go for several weeks but what really turned me off to him was that he said I couldn't try to help myself, only he could help me. I think meditating and focusing on the chakras that control my afflicted energy areas would be a great help. I think it would help me to heal faster. He tells me the mind is too dangerous to try to help myself. I think that is a load of you know what. I got the feeling he was just pushing for my money. Other holistic docs have always given me suggestions that I can do at home in order to help myself.
