I know how hard it is but frankly I know I can do it. Friday I drank and it wasn't just two. And the next day feeling awful and hungover I decided I am going to make it my goal that this week, I am on a whole plan...not just alcohol, but fresh salads, I find lemon water helps, it even helps to put it in a wine glass...I have some alcohol here and I feel so good today that I talked myself out of it. It IS hard, but on the other hand when you think logically of all the benefits of not doing it, and how positive you will feel when you wake up the next day, how much it's ruined great moments in life, it's ruined million for me since the second I put it to my lips, and if I cannot be moderate and I cannot than I cannot do it at all. Just know that everytime you want one you have a choice in that moment, to give in or to transcend it. And from a spiritual perspective think of it as something you agreed to tackle in this lifetime. I do not like AA, did not find it for me, but I do believe in the power of positve thoughts and forums to let people know at this moment in time there is another person doing the same thing as you! Think of it as makeover of you and maybe use the opportunity to eat better, sleep better and do some other things with your time.... And just think how much better you will look and feel in a week's time. It's awful to have any substance take power away from ourselves! Any substance, and all addictions are the same. You just have to substitute something else for the addiction...a positive versus a negative. Please feel free to write me at any time!
