Actually, Painlessjoe, Osteopaths are not nerve specialists. Chiropractors are. Osteopathy is all about increasing circulation. Chiropractic is the only healthcare profession dedicated to optimizing the function of the nerve system.
And yes, digestion can be directly affected by pressure on the nerve system. ANy subluxations (misalignments) in the spine from T5-L2 can result in digestive problems>
