You might try EFT for the pain. It is an energy/meridian/accupressure technique that is fairly easy to learn, free 80 page tutorial at emofree.com. If you would like some assistance with it I am an EFT therapist and do not charge unless you get relief. Do you remember how/when your sciatica started? We know that serious emotional/physical traumas can cause long term pain. There is a possibility that EFT can help. Let me know if you want to try it.
