You need to seriously go to a GOOD chiropractor in your area. An MD was not trained in this area to help you properly relieve the stress/impingement on your nerve. I work for a chiropractor in NC and trust me, we see cases like this all the time. If you have never been to a chiropractor, right now is the perfect time to acquaint yourself with one and incorporate into your healthcare. It does wonders for the body! A bruised sciatic nerve??? If only that doctor knew the anatomy of the spine. Oh brother....I don't know where you live but all I can say is GO! You will be thank yourself for it!
