It's possible the surgery did more harm than good. The problem sounds like several pinched nerves from the vertebrae impinging on the spinal nerves. The solution is usually a chiropractic adjustment which realigns the vetabrae so that they no longer are pinching the nerves. Find a good chiropractor in your area who comes highly recommended by others who have experienced pain relief. Xrays will probably have to be taken to see which vertebrae are impinging.
Another thing that has benefited my wife and myself for pain relief is called a magpulser. If you are familiar with the Q-ray bracelets you see advertised on TV it works similar to that except it is about 50x more powerful so the pain relief is a lot stronger and faster. You can buy this unit from elixa.com for $219 shipped and it is worth every penny. Not only has it relieved back pain and neck pain it also releived headaches, gallbladder pain, and toothache pain for both of us. It not only releives pain but helps cells to rejuvenate as well. Try it. We find that for longstanding pain it may take a couple of hours of treatment before relief comes.
Blessings and Prayers for relief,
