The point about it being too hard to keep lies straight is well taken. I've dealt with the hassle of well-meaning friends and family trying to "intervene" before. Under those circumstances I can understand wanting to use a little harmless deception to prevent having to explain myself.

:) Sorry if I was a little snippy. It was Day 2 of the Master-Cleanse and I'm a first-timer. Can I claim the toxins made me do it?
