I've took MSM for several years. I rarely take it anymore but when I did I notice that it seemed to give me great control (which I still have most of the time) over my addictions and it made quitting coffee a snap. Trust me I tried for years to quit before and quit once for six months of which I suffered massive headaches the whole time. Just one tablespoon of MSM a day and I found that I could take it or leave it and have been a very light coffee drinker ever since. One thing I noticed was that the MSM from health food stores wasn't very good and was expensive but feed stores had the best quality at the cheapest price. I haven't had a cold in the three years since I discovered MSM and had I not gone on to Chlorella I would still be taking it. I could never stop taking MSM for more than a week or two and I could start getting my allergies back but I haven't needed it since the Chlorella.
