I totally know how you feel. I was lucky that my back pain only last 4 or 5 days out of my 10. I did drink lot's of water and it seemed to help. Hot bathes helped me as well.

I would tend to agree with my mom...there may have been infection of the kidneys and that's why they hurt. I was prone to bladder infections as well before I started doing this every 6 months and now it's gone away. I can't remember when the last time was that I had problems.
