As someone so eloquently put it (I think it was Shelleycat), your digestive system has been asleep and you have to wake it up slowly. So you really do need juice and broth for at least a day if not two. I have come off both of my MC's too quickly and felt sick, although nothing horrible. I am hopeful that next time I will have learned my lesson and I will drink the OJ and broth for at least two days before I try to eat anything else.
