hi,

hmmmmm.... sounds to me like you are fighting sleep and fighting letting go into sleep. you feel the need to "finish the job" of sleeping but can't because you are resisting fully giving yourself over to sleep, ie never fully asleep. you perhaps see sleep as a task or chore you must complete?
