I also think that you evolved in the second dream to make the choice not to be limited in potential or growth, desire for growth where you can not so much erase the past but write the script for yourself now and rewrite it if necessary with the swipe of an eraser.

On the other level, like me writing is seen as a big part of my life and I have had some pencil dreams as well as auditory conversations where I wake up with a particular phrase that is pretty easy to decipher compared to longer dreams always related to pleasure and expression which I do so easily in written format. I have begun to pick up pencil or pen and put my thoughts into written format...at times I become aware that I have laid a preponderance of thoughts on paper that I cannot believe came from me. Automatic writing? seems to be... try it!
