Thanks Lori..that does make sense in terms of symbolizm.

I haven't been too happy with where we live right now. More thugs are hanging out now near my building and the person in my dream does fit into that category so I'm sure that's what sparked it. To my knowledge I've never been raped, at least not as an adult..so the dream was probably brought on by the frustration of not being able to move to a better neighborhood and not feeling safe around the newly arrived element.
