I promise I wanted to answer this sooner. I was away at a conference at the end of last week and didn't see your message until I was at work and didn't have a chance to respond yesterday... And, with that said, I did cheat by reading everybody elses' responses. Much of my feelings about the dream were covered in other posts, but I had a slightly different feeling from the dream.

To me, there were these foreigners in your bedroom, they left when you questioned them. I do believe they had to do with the 'once and future Tracey' as do the teenagers. You demanded things of them, wanted them to answer questions and they just whispered to each other. This made you angry so you yelled at them to leave. But, in my opinion, they couldn't. You could have been the 'whisper' that everybody was waiting for. This is you at the current time. All of the other Traceys were standing around looking at the current Tracey. Where were they to go? They were your past, your future even. It is almost like you were denying your past of a place in your life. Get out of here, refusing to acknowledge the poor little Traceys:) Another thing, they wouldn't tell you the secret, but was it yours to know? After all, you seemed really bored with the blaise conversation and activity that was taking place. Maybe it wasn't your time to hear the secret, maybe the secret was becoming something at that moment of the whisper.

I don't know if I got my ideas out clearly so forgive me if I didn't. I am tired, and wearing very weak glasses so I can't really see the screen all that well.
