All good points. Have a bit to add but it might repeat what others said...

Don't have much time to write so here goes:

best friend in living room: aspect of deeper self in social situation. Being distracted by 'male' aspect.

Foreigners in bedroom which is the place of deep inner self. You dont' recognize them...foreign..what aren't you seeing about your deeper self? Plus later they keep a secret from you....What aren't you seeing? Are you neglecting yourself? Something is **hidden**...possibly about the deeper side of you.

You didn't shoe them away so there aspect isn't a threat to you, in fact, you WANT to know. Maybe you need more time for self-reflection.

There is a lot of **distraction** in the house, or yourself. It begins with your boyfriend then culminates with a party OUTSIDE, of people you don't identify with anymore. Are you angry in the real world that people feel so close to you, divulge a lot about themselves when they really don't know you well? They're being very intimate with you without your full consent? THoughts..

Basically there is the theme of socialization. And something not consciously realized in your deeper self.

The conversation with your best friend is interrupted.....and the ladies won't share their secret.....

There is also a sense of transition:
the staircase, the ladies young to old and you not identifying with the young partiers anymore.
