Wild eh, that Tavern on the Green IS what you said it was a green spot in a concrete city! That exactly matches the feeling in your dream. One little 'oasis' in that dry landscape...

By extension....bringing WATER into your life will green up your atmosphere...water=emotions=spirituality. Perhaps you were hurt so you've closed up an aspect of yourself, you know? That inner landscape (that you're feeling bored with) is thirsty!
