I'm sure you must be familiar with this but when you said sirius it made me remember something so I looked up dolphins/whales/sirius. Sirius emanates blue energy too I think very key with egyptian and other african tribes. Before slaves were brought here they most likely followed the connection with sirius as they did originally in egypt before they spread out . They described dolphin beings or half men half fish that gave them their vast knowledge.
