I just want to point out that most counselors (without fancy initials after their names) are pretty much paid listeners. They listen, without judgement. I have mentioned that I feel you are very diplomatic over in the relationship or Depression forum, and I think that is a very unique gift. Another thing that counselors can do without leading is to ask the question behind the life-view. This is not telling people what to do, but rather, helping them examine and explore their viewpoints, life experience, and options. So, I think it is a nice fit with what little knowledge I have of you:)
