Wow! I recall a man's testimony of this very thing you are stating, Lapis. It was in a TV documentary on life after life years ago.
Christ showed him this truth after he died temporarily. ( I believe he was struck by lightening through a telephone wire and was actually dead for over an hour)

Well- he said that every thought we have has either a negative or positive influence- our minds have an energy that can create or destroy-and influence like a pebble thrown into a lake. The ripple effect of our thoughts and actions is not to be taken for granted.

For example, He was shown all the negative things that resulted from the minutest action of his - of snapping at a store clerk behind a store counter-- how that had it's own domino effect of negativity that carried on after he left the store.

Every thought we have that we take for granted- every worry or fret has some kind of negative destructive power, just as every positive thought has a creative restorative power.

Actually- from hearing this expierience, it made me realize that if someone is paralized in bed -- it doesnt necessarily mean they cant contribute to the rest of this World.! They can send out constructive thoughts and be more a force of restoration and construction on this planet than the rest of us who are distracted and rush about with our daily preoccupations!
