Thanks for posting the link so others can consider "for themselves" whether thay want to look at a path,whatever it might be.
Just be prepared to have others jumping all over you as I have on this board before when giving my own personal experiences,nothing more
As far as Eckankar goes I have been a member for over 18 years and as far as the stories of Cults etc etc it really is pathetic
I know of many who have nothing to do with the outer works,probably a vast majority actually.
The human consciousness will take what it will from any path both good or bad
I guess I should believe all Muslims are killers just because the Wahabi offshoot so chooses to decipher the Koran the way it does,its no different
I personally can only account for my personal inner experiences with Eckankar and they have never been anything but about Love and service
As far as the monthly fee goes Lapis,this is for The monthly discourses which are wonderful.A family membership is very reasonable I can guarantee,noone asks you for money its riduculous
I can go on the THE NET and look at all sorts of sites (and lurk as you put it once before) bad mouthing this and that ,but I have no personal experience of them myself so how can I jump on and attack it.
If you believe you are following the spiritual path you will let others do the same,thats a true sign of acceptance which is the true reflection of your state of consciousness
