Hi,

Milk chocolate contains milk. Dark chocolate (probably) doesn't. Semi-sweet frequently doesn't, but sometimes it contains milk or butter (others instead use cocoa butter, which comes from cocoa and is not a dairy product, unless it's a really strange dairy). So you have to read the ingredients on the package to know for sure.
