Dear Andy,
Incidently, I just released a book on cancer, entitled, Cancer Is Not A Disease - It's A Survival Mechanim (www.ener-chi.com). You may want to read it because it will help you remove the fear of cancer and understand what cancer really is and why it is in you favor for as long as certain conditions remain intact. Removing the fear of cancer is the most important step to achieve complete healing. You will also learn the main physical reasons behind cancer. Diet, lifestyle, the liver bile ducts, blood vessel walls, and the lymphatic system all play major roles in all of that. For example, there can be no tumor growth without liver/gallbladder congestion, and thickeing of the basal membranes of the capillary walls (see book for details).
I also suggest that you eat foods that harmonize with your body type, according to the 6,000 year old system of Ayurveda (see my book Timeless Secrets of Health & Rejuvenation. Some foods on your blood type diet may match the Ayurvedic body type, but some may not and affect you adversly.
The blood type diet is based on a concept of diet habits of our ancestors, but which ancestors are we talking about?
Since how many hundred years did we inhabit America? Where were we before? In Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, Australia? What about the great civilizations of Lemuria and Atlantis so long ago? Before the sudden onset of the ice age (which took but a fraction of a second to occur due to a pole shift) Siberia and other colder places used to be subtropical. To this day we find frozen animals with tropical fruits in their mouth in Siberia; they didn't even have the time to swallow the fruits, so quickly occured the big freeze.
Utah used to be under seawater. The High Andes were submerged under water. Some people that survived the harsh conditions and lived on tropical fruits until then were suddenly faced with a scarcity of food, unknown before, and so they learned to hunt animals and get accustomed to colder seasons. To this day, two thirds of the world's populations are still vegetarian, and have have been for thousands of years. Their blood type is not any different than ours. The human DNA hasn't substantially changed over hundreds and thousands of years, and that includes the blood DNA. To determine what you need to eat from the assumption what your ancestors ate 10,000, 100,000, or a million years ago is not very scientific, to say the least. What influences the DNA mostly is the environment (including the constitution of the five elements), diet, and mental/emotional states. Meat consumption in our part of the world has increased by 4,000 percent in the past 100 years. This may have affected our health, but certainly doesn't count as a significant blood type heritage.
One can easily get confused with the vast amount of health information making the headlines today. In Timeless Secrets of Health & Rejuvenation (www.ener-chi.com) I discuss the topic of raw food/ versus cooked food, the misinformation about vitamins, minerals, protein foods, and dozens of other important subjects. The 500-page book also helps you understand the importance of aligning your biological rhythms with that of nature's rhythms, essential for healing any illness.
I understand your eagerness to become cancer-free, but I suggest that trying to do everything that seems promising is not going to do the trick. Cancer is not a difficult disorder to heal, and the simplest methods are best. Cleansing the organs of elimination (see especially The Amazing Liver & Gallbladder Flush, http://www.ener-chi.com is the most important one of all. Dietary and lifestyle changes comes second. Healing the emotional causes is just as important (I suggest you also read Lifting the Veil of Duality). Sacred Santemony could also be very useful.
You mentioned how much water you drink. You may consider drinking no more than 6-8 glasses per day. You blood is getting too watery, and your kidneys are getting tired. There is a limit to as how many minerals and vitamins the kidneys can filter out of the blood plasma and return to the body. Drinking more than that (except when exercising) doesn't add any extra benefit for the purpose of cleansing the body, but can easily lead to a vitamin and mineral deficiency, regardless how much fresh juices you drink or vitamins you take. Taking a lot of supplements (all of which need to be digested to be of use) may overwhelm the digestive system and can undermine your body's healing efforts.
With my best wishes for a speedy recovery,
Andreas
