I know from a man's point of view that they don't know "what to give you". No one teaches a school about how to please another person, even though there are some basics, everyone is different. Maybe you can show him what you need, in fact do YOU know how to please yourself properly? If not how is he going to. I'm not making a harsh statement just stating something I learned the hard way. NOW I ask to be shown or I show what needs to be done at an appropriate time. With you not being able to properly please yourself sounds like some emotional issues, that can really mess things up. Try the emotional support forum(I think that's what it's called)on this site. I'm certainly now implying it's you, there's always two sides, just trying to get at the root cause then things can begin to improve.
