Btw it seems that if you are just focusing on mercury .
that sardines do tend to be touted as low in it
as do anchovies and herring!
but then you read about the high cadmium poisoning in herring,
and the contrary to belief / high lvl of mercury in Fla anchovies,
then I think it a far better choice to choose other means to get
the EFA's such as ground flaxseed and hempseed/ and the oils as well.
I keep mine refridgerated after I grind them.
You do need to grind the seeds, to get the full benefits,
otherwise most of them will pass thru undigested.
