Dear Mike,

There may be different reasons for this. One of them relates to the birthing process. When a baby is born and pulled out inappropriately and or pulled by one leg or arm it can lead to left handedness. However, the true reason behind physical resons are more related to past life experience. I know quite a few people who are left handed and found they either "abused" their right hand during battles and fights and other "wrongdoing" and in this lifetime were reluctant using it, out of shame and guilt. Instead they prefer using the left hand because unconsciously it is considered to be a the "good" hand.

One part of the brain may be more developed or used than the other when there is either a need to deal with some past life trauma or opportunity to develop an area that has been or wasn't developed enough to create a point of balance of wholeness in life. Many special artistic gifts can only be accessed when the right brain is developed more, and many analytic intellectual gifts as required in areas of science for example are amplefied only when the left brain is more active or developed. Many very left brain oriented people end up facing a serious situation in their lives that cannot be resolved by using their left brain. This forces them to let go of illusions of the mind and become deeply emotional, and thereby deal with the underlying fear, low self worth, and lack of confidence that has led them to create more dentrites in the left part of the brain than in the right part. And then there are others whose overemphasis on heart, feelings, emotions, etc. doesn't allow them to function in the modern world and they become stressed, fearful and depressed by it. A lot of lefthanded people are also very sensitive and have a greater need for grounding themselves.

At the end, everyone has his/her own different reasons for passing more energy to or through one side of the brain than the other. Although this happens mostly unconsciously, an incarnating soul consciously determines all that prior to being born.
