according to Ayurvedic medicine is the liver reacting to something. Black pepper, for instance, is harsh on the liver and tends to make one sneeze. I don't use any when I'm going thru a semi-fast cleanse. So it's an allergic reaction that's mostly centered in the liver. sounds like your husband could do with a Liver Flush and liver tonic herbs! :)
