That was the *INSPIRATION* I needed just at the right time!

I am working on a large scale oil painting of the crucifixion of the Christ with a deadline in 10 days. It seemed impossible to me that I could finish it, much less ever finding the inspiration and motivation to keep trying.

This morning I really felt like giving up and believed there is no way I can finish this piece in such a short period of time. I had been lacking in purpose, direction and inspiration.

With all the questioning I've had lately about the crucifixion and the history of Christianity I was having such a hard time finding a place for it in my reasoning.

My prayers were answered. You really put it in perspective for me.
