When I was 12 I had my appendix removed. So I'm guessing this is a large contributing factor to my health problems, plus stress, and previously drinking heavily for about4-5 years. Hmmmmmmm makes ya think that perhaps you could of made a difference all those years ago, but didnt really know any better when your 12!
