I can understand your confusion.
The book states taking 1500-2000mgs with 2 glasses of warm water,the way I understand it this implies 2 glasses with half tsp in each.

Now in previous posts on this forum, Andreas has suggested the following as an optimal dose:

I would take 1/2 teaspoon of malic acid in one large glass of water and have two of those each day for six days. You should be OK with that.
