yes i rub avc on my scalp in wintertime to get off winter dry scalp (esp since i live in unheated house.. we get dried out )

it smells unless you use mint with it
i generally will just dab it on with cotton ball and let sit on my scalp all day
then at night give it a nice head massage with fingers.. and wash out..also i concentrate conditioning more on ends ofhair/ so it keeps build up away from root scalp areas..
work up from bottom up with conditioner and downward with shampoo 8)

if you use the avc about 3 times a week you will see a rapid improvement.. i can feel improvement in just a few apps after a whole winter 8)

be ready lol you will smell like avc for a good hour after rofl !! (but not if you add the mint)
