While the information about methylmercury is interesting you did not answer any of my questions. You stated quite clearly in your response to the individual concerned about heavy metal contamination of his/her supplements that the organic forms of mercury and lead, to name two you mentioned, are vital nutrients for plants and for us. My question to you was what vital function do the organic forms of these metals play in human and plant physiology. You make a point that methylmercury is toxic but you fail to mention which organic form of mercury is a vital nutrient. Please clarify your stance on these organic forms of metals being vital nutrients.
