Hi, Andreas. This is Chris. We talked a few weeks ago for Sacred Santemony. In the meantime, I have been experiencing a lot of emotional emptying. Old memories are surfacing one by one. Hopefully, this is a good thing. But the real reason I'm writing today is to ask you about the thymus gland. As you will probably recall from our conversation, I have been feeling ill since I had pectus excavatum surgery last May. How close is the thymus to the sternum? Do you think I injured my thymus during the operation and that is why my immune system is not functioning well? It seems like a possibility considering my sternum was lifted so violently. I still don't quite understand what the thymus does, whether it's possible to injure/unbalance it, and things like this. From what I have read so far, this is a very controversial subject, with some people saying the thymus is a useless gland and has no effect on the body. What do you think? Also, perhaps more importantly, are there any specific things I can do to strengthen my thymus?
Hope all is well,
Chris
