The only information I am getting on this is that your small intestine is ridding itself of a large amount of old toxic waste matter, part of which is being eliminated via the blood and thinnest parts of the skin in the cheeks. I would support the body in its efforts by having one colonic per week, for 2-3 weeks, and the hot water treatment for tissue cleansing (as in the book). Regarding ParaGone, I am not working with products like these, so you may need to may raise this question on a site that deals with parasite cleansing.
