I gave blood last year and thought I was doing the greatest thing for my fellow human beings. I even signed up for the "super Doner" program. About 2 weeks or so later I got a letter from San Diego Blood Bank letting me know I had Hep C. I was really horrified and went through some major soul searching about the where's, how's and when's. I prepared myself for major medication's and loss of work. I've always been in good health. I was advised that I would probly be having a liver biopsy. I lost sleep over this. It scares me to think that my liver is sick and they want to take a piece of it. I went through allot over this. When I went in for blood work results and treatment plans they told me I had no viral load. Just antibodies! I asked what Genotype I had. They said they couldn't tell. There was no virus. I have no tolerance for alcohol. I started on the journey to cleanse my body. But I always wonder if this will show up again. If they made a mistake. Am I one of the lucky ones. Why do some get deathly ill and others get antibodies. For a long time the Lymph glands under my right arm feel drawn. I wonder is it really gone. Please go easy on me. I know you guys can rip each other over innocent mistakes. Spelling, punctuation and the lot are hard when you want to write your thoughts down for others. I want you to share your knowledge with me. I don't want to make you feel bad. But you can keep your negativity. Thank's for being honest Grog. I'm scared to send this. Should I? OK, I will!
