Hey there.

I don't mean to scare anyone off more than we all are already, but worms, larvae, ova, maggots and who knows what else found LIVING and 'kicking' in people's heads is a medical fact. I've seen them personally during pme's and in a couple of 'head surgeries'. I could even point out to internet photos, but trust me, you'll want to take my word for it instead. I even heard of a leech in the sinus cavities once, although I didn't see this myself.

What I DO NOT understand is how and why so many medical doctors wish to display unawareness to this fact, almost as if to simply ignore it. You wouldn't believe the amount of people that's come to me with a WRONGFUL medical diagnosis of a state of 'delusion' when the symptoms and the numbers have "shouted out loudly" the causes for themselves.

As to what can be done, the first thing I would recommend is to remain calm as much as possible, because either way the "thing" is already there. However, I must also say that it may turn out to be 'something' else other than parasites, so maybe there's a chance that there isn't so much to worry about after all.

In any case, this is something that mustn't be overlooked and that should be considered carefully.

Before taking ANYTHING at all -any meds-, I would suggest to try as much as possible to determine what it is that's in the head FIRST, because nobody wants complications/migration/infection/inflammation inside the brain. Any blind folded measure could be pretty much a throw of the dice, I think. Meningitis is no light stuff, specially when it's agnogenic (when nobody knows the cause for sure).

I'd like to hear other opinions, because this is always a worrisome situation for me when it comes to patients, and I'm always looking for information. Medical literature doesn't help much, and docs won't speak. Any other thoughts?

[NOTE: When I'm thinking of "worms in the brain" I'm always wondering about unexplained headaches, migraines, blurred foggy vision, epilepsy, alzheimer's, many forms of "dementia" and neurological disorders. It also makes me wonder WHY in centuries past mental patients were constantly treated with enemas.. What did those REAL scientists suspect or know that we don't? Something to think about. Just a random thought]

[I must mention that the situation is usually curable and is RARELY fatal, contrary to what may be thought. I saw a patient once that'd had worms in her brain for God knows how long. Experts estimated for over 25 years. She was 60 or 70 something years old at the time of the surgery as I recall, and larvae and ova living in her head were found by mere chance. Two of the 'oldest' worms could NOT be removed because they'd compromised certain critical areas, so the chief surgeon had no choice but to leave them in! I was horrified at the time, because I had no idea.]
