Yes, in theory, soybean oil should be alright, but occasionally, there are still proteins found in it. My son is allergic, and reacts even with the oil, but it is a much lesser reaction. Just watch yourself. My son is highly allergic so he may be more sensitive to those things. Also, try going to a Whole Foods Market. They are expensive, but they have a lot of specialty items, including soy-free.
