You need to do cleansing and find out what works for a long-term solution. Short-term, I would recommend drinking large amounts of green tea throughout the day, and avoiding dairy products and Sugar (and refined foods in general). Make hot green tea, use plain tea (not decaf or flavored). Teabags are okay, or whole leaves. Drink a full cup, then after that keep making more and drinking it/taking sips throughout the day. You might need to stop when it gets toward evening. I have a friend who has spring allergies, claritin didn't work but green tea does (for him). Also, use Sea Salt in warm water as a facial bath (immerse face in water, breathe out through nose) morning and evening, for about 5-10 minutes each time, opening the eyes under water. About 1 tsp per large bowl or basin of water should be enough, maybe slightly more. You can use this water for sinus irrigation, too. I think you can read about that somewhere here at curezone. If you don't wear contacts, try putting a drop of oil into each eye (castor oil, olive oil, coconut oil). I have done this myself with castor oil. If you do wear contacts, you can still do it at night when you take the contacts out. The salt water and the oil really helps the itchy irritated eyes.
Hope the green tea, salt water, oil and no dairy or Sugar helps you out.

p.s. I think bowel cleansing and Liver Flushing are two important elements for getting rid of allergies, long-term. I've heard good things about naet, too.
