I have an update that may encourage those trying tumeric as a treatment. I had a nurse and a Dr. exam last week & they both said my fibroids have shrunk! So much so that they are sending me for a new scan and have put me on a lower dose birth control pill. :)

Sorry, I just couldn't keep up with the pumpkin seeds though I did have a tablespoon a day for the first month and a half. Also I couldn't take more than the first 1/4 teaspoon of tumeric since it *always* gave me cramps and pain near my kidneys. :o

My success is from taking 1/4 teaspoon tumeric in my regular dose of citricell (similar to metamucil but easier to take) followed with another drink like water or coffee to help wash it down. I have had no pain since I started this. :) I have also found that I can do this twice a day without pain.

I plan to try the pumpkin seeds again soon as the Dr. only said my fibroids 'shrunk'. Will let you know what the scan shows.
