Yes, and Wormwood can also damage the central nervous system, per several medical guides I have. The link above mentions "permanent mental deterioration" as one potential side effect from overuse. One poster on this board mentioned mysterious ongoing muscle twitches after using Wormwood for several months as I recall, although it can't necessarily be linked to the use of that particular herb.
