Well, I'm gonna answer my own question. (grin!) I called the Renew Life company, as was recommended to someone else (wouldn't have thought of it if it hadn't been advised elsewhere, so thanks whoever suggested it!)

And they said that the cleanse is recommended as a general rule, but i can certainly do the paragone first without any ill effects. I'm still debating for personal reasons -- such as THANKSGIVING this week!! There is little likelihood that I'll manage to stay on a relatively healthy Diet this week, so.... I'm just going to stick to the mild stuff I've already been taking and the oil of oregano and wait til after the turkey and stuffing.... :D
