Thanks for your replies - I think the answer to my question is yes, I am being impatient! I suppose it took a long time to get like this and it will take a long time to sort myself out. I do intend to take things further and I suppose it will be worth putting my life on hold while I do it. Another thing is I think I worried/depressed myself a bit reading posts from others who have adopted a very stringent approach. I know I would not be able to live like that so I will just continue to eat well (what I consider well, anyway!) exercise more and perhaps try a liver flush. It seems to make sense but the thought of it is a bit ghastly (not the stones coming but drinking oil - is it as bad as it sounds?)
