This is probably too late but here goes anyways..

That sounds like lots of gas to me. I experienced that when I did my first enema years ago.

Also you dont have to hold all that at once!! start small like say 1qrt and go up from there on different days. Also if your intestines need to be 'straightened' out that could be a problem too. Try massaging it clockwise and anti clockwise.

The Lemon enema is very cleansing.
