It could be either. I know this does not help much. The trouble with herbs is you don't know to which herb you might be allergic to. I once lost my memory from drinking a herbal tea, I stopped and I was ok.

If it stays I would stop it and see if it goes away.

Then try something like P&B shakes, see FAQ at top of page or try a magesium oxide one like colosan or Oxypowder , so you can find your reaction to that.
I understand you can get a refund if the colonix does not work for you.
