I posted that link -thread below- to the AHA with specific reference to daily fiber intake.

I was not asking if you or the "long termers" as you point out in the forums agree.
If you have other insights to daily fiber intake, I'd like to hear it.

I guess I am a little annoyed after hanna's response below and seeing yours because I am new and seeking information to better my health.
No offense intended, but your response appears to be arrogant and unhelpful.
Maybe Ed is new also, I dont know.

"Long termers" aren't the only ones in these forums and I am sure there are many people of different ailments on here and on different levels. Some maybe with absolutely no health problem.
In addition, I am positive that new people who are seeking new kinds of health approaches may still be tied to "old thinking" of mainstream medicine, so please keep this in mind.

Do you have links to share of publications that are not funded like these types of orgs that discuss daily fiber intake?
