Please consider the point of view of long-time posters & experienced natural healers:

Low carb dieting is extremely harmful to ones' health (for a huge variety of different reasons).

The American Heart Association does not subscribe to natural treatments & methods of prevention. It promotes surgery and dangerous medicine.

Hence, the "long-termers" on this board don't find a need to comment on research & publications put out by organizations such as these...as the basis of their research (and generally the outcome of the same) is meant to support their agenda and to pad their pocketbooks.

When seeking a "true cure" and reliable knowledge about diet & health...generally one wants to look for research in publications that are NOT funded by organizations with any type of agenda.
