HI Demi, We've been working hard at boosting the lactobacillus with high quality supplements and super-charged homemade yogurt daily...from what I've read though, I think the blastocystis is actually feeding on the beneficial bacteria. HIs good bacteria count was 0 in a Great Smokies bacteriology sample last month.

Good question about the bile. His BM's have improved from diahreah to loose 'tubes' that are light brown. Sometimes they seem more digested than others. I'll take a closer look! We're doing flax seed oil daily, as well as coconut oil, olive oil and seeds.
